AFA Certified Farrier with a strong background in anatomy and medical science. Former farrier for the NJHSFR and competed at state and national levels, working with performance horses in rodeo, jumping, and eventing, as well as in therapeutic and rehabilitation contexts. After starting my college education two decades ago with the goal of becoming a DVM, my military service changed my path. Last summer, I donated half of my shoeing book and returned to school to complete my degree, aiming to conduct research and provide evidence-based information to DVMs and farriers. I plan to achieve my AWCF (CJF, EE, FE, TE, ASF) by graduation, as few DVMs hold CJF qualifications, and none have both DVM and AWCF credentials.
